Meredith J. Nielsen Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Meredith J. Nielsen of Penn Yan, New York, who passed away on March 17, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Keith Folts and Nellie Folts (Southall); her husband Donald; and her brother Rodney Folts. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Austin (Richie), Dan Nielsen (Jane) and Jeffrey Nielsen (Terri); and her grandchildren, Kristopher Mahan, Kimberly Mahan, J. Ryan Nielsen (Andrea), Brandi Long (Matthew), Danielle Reilly (Brian), Gunner Nielsen and Annika Nielsen (Evan Russell). She is also survived by nine great grandchildren; one great great grandson; and by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
