Patty Lou Race Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Patty Lou Race (Penn Yan, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 12, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Barkley and Olee Barkley; her sons, Jon Race and David Snyder; her husband Merrill "Mike" Race; her sisters, Connie Palmisano and Norma; and her siblings-in-law, William Lunney, James Rockwell and Ann Race.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Race of Penn Yan, Merrill (Patricia Race), Brian (Veronica Race), Valerie (Chuck Corson), Tina Erskine of Canandaigua and Milton (Brenda Race); her daughter-in-law Lisa Race of Penn Yan; and her siblings, Mary Rockwell, Winnie Radka (Richard), Judy Thompson, Susie Brusen, Albert Barkley (Susan) and James Barkley (Linda). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
