He is survived by : his wife Judy Gottshall (Edington); his children, Crystel Hillman (Christopher) of Romulus, Lacey Gottshall of Penn Yan and Shawn Gottshall of Ovid; and his siblings, John Gottshall (Theresa) of Potter, Scott Gottshall (Mary Jane) of Penn Yan, Shannen (Crystal) of Adel and Georgia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
