We are sad to announce that, on September 17, 2022, at the age of 99, Roger W. Knapton of Penn Yan, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Warren Knapton and Mary Knapton (Daines) of Penn Yan; his wife Mary Orsley of Penn Yan; and his brothers, Gerald (Audrey) and Leland (Ruth).
During his years of ministry with the Southern Baptist Convention, he served as President Emeritus of the NY Baptist Foundation, President of the Baptist Convention of NY, and Trustee of the Southern Baptist Mission Board.
