She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Wood and Evelyn Wood A. She is survived by: her husband Greg (Diz); her son Andrew J. Disbrow (Heidi); her grandchildren, Dylan Gardner, Jameson Disbrow, Frank and Maisie Bailey; her siblings, Les Wood (Wanda), Marsha Scofield (Jan), Donald Wood (Norva) and Dan Wood (Tammie); her sister-in-law Cindy Ashton; her nieces and nephews, Nate Wagner-Ashton (Megan), Josh Ashton, Denise Quasis (Bob), Christie Sutton (Brian), Bronson Enos and Kyle Wood (Alexa); and her friends, Laurel Burnett and Cortrights.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Weldon Funeral Home (102 E Main St, Penn Yan, NY 14527). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (135 Hamilton St, Penn Yan, NY 14527). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 12:15 PM at the Lakeview Cemetery (426 Court St, Penn Yan, NY 14527). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Penn Yan Elks Lodge #1722 (133 Main St, Penn Yan, NY 14527).
In lieu of flowers, Sheila's wish is that donations be made to any of the following organizations: American Legion Post 355 "Honor Guard/Scholarship Fund"; Elks Lodge #1722 Veterans Fund; Keuka Comfort Care Home; or St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
