He was predeceased by: his parents, George Burg and Doris Burg (Dinehart); his grandparents, Lorenzo, Estella Burg, Charles and Ora Dinehart (Meade); his sister Pat; his brother-in-law Howard Pedersen; and his in-laws, Margaret Townsend, Mary, Walter Brown, James, Sandra Townsend, Joseph Townsend Jr., Gordy Wilber, Pete and Pat Townsend.
He is survived by: his wife Joann of Mac's Dairy Ice Cream Store; his children, Becki Bailey (Troy), Jennifer Alessi (Mike) and Amy Myhand (Keith); his grandchildren, Ryan Bailey, Megan Bailey, Dr. Madie Alessi, Joey Alessi and Jackson Myhand; and his sister-in-law Judy Wilber. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
