He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter H. Sorensen and Loretta P. Taylor Sorensen; and his wife Karen L. Sorensen. He is survived by: his sons, Todd Sorensen of Kennedy, Jay Sorensen (Rebecca) of Falconer and Brad Sorensen of Kennedy; his close friend Kathy Hagner of Perrysburg; his grandchildren, Bentley, Leanna, Chloe, Evangeline, Kyla, Autumn and Wyatt; and his sisters, Rita Poole of Jamestown, Judy Sorensen of Lakewood and Susan Colleu of Lakewood.

Memorials may be donated to the Falconer Fire Department 115 Davis St. Falconer, NY 14733.
