It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Perry (Peru, New York), who passed away on February 5, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Rogers Copeland and Ruth Foljambe Copeland, MD; and her brothers, James R. Copeland and Edmund S. Copeland. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Kristen Perry Shingelo and Jason Colin Perry; her husband Roy E. Perry of Peru, NY; her son-in-law Ronnie Shingelo; her granddaughter Chloe Shingelo of Pearl River, NY; her daughter-in-law Susie Weller of Athens, GA.; her sister Nancy Copeland Hughes; and her brother-in-law Robert Hughes. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, June 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Peru Community Church (12 Elm St, Peru, NY 12972).
