With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dawne LaBombard of Peru, New York, born in Malone, New York, who passed away on March 26, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest LaVoie and Dorothy LaVoie (LaBarge); her husband Gerald F. "Jerry" LaBombard; her siblings, Earl LaVoie (Joan), Darrel LaVoie (Mary) and Susan Grytebust (Leif); and her close friend Jim McCarty.

She is survived by : her children, Kevin LaBombard (Tracy) of Plattsburgh, Keith LaBombard of Plattsburgh and Kerri Parent (Chris) of Plattsburgh; her grandchildren, Jason Ormsby (Becca), Jessica Depo (Austin), Randy, Brian, Robert, Kyle and Kallista LaBombard; her sisters, Janice Sova (Bob) of Malone and Janet Passino of Plattsburgh; and her pet Sarah. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.

Donations in the memory of Dawne LaBombard may be made to St. Augustine's Church or the Elmore SPCA.

Anne Marie Dresser wrote a sympathy message

“I am so sorry to hear of this sweet lady's passing. I haven't seen her in years, but I remember her so fondly from my childhood. We lived next door on Holden Avenue. I still make the molasses cookies she taught me to bake and follow the recipe from a card in her handwriting. I worked for her at Valehaven and learned so much from her compassion. Kevin, Keith and Kerri, I was your babysitter for many years. I send you my prayers and condolences. Anne Marie Dresser (Ami Crete)”
