Joanne Gainer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanne Gainer of Peru, New York, born in Plattsburgh, New York, who passed away on March 10, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Nelson Agoney and Theresa Agoney (Boudrieau); and her brothers, Richard Agoney and Michael Agoney. She is survived by : her husband Paul H. Gainer; her children, Paula Long (Allen Goodsell), Steven Gainer (Jessica) and Brian Gainer (Dawn); her grandchildren, Alexis, Alyssa, Lukas, Bridget, Joshua, Elijah, Isabel, Carter, Solomon, Codey, Kenna and Harley; her brothers, Raymond Agoney (Helen), Billy Agoney (Theresa Allen) and Amon Agoney (Sandra); and her sisters-in-law, Debbie Agoney and Gina Agoney. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
