He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo W. LaMar and Phoebe M. LaMar (Parrish); his parents-in-law, Lyman and Leona LaVigne; his sister Barbara; his brother-in-law James Bola; his siblings, Mildred Sears and Leon; his sister-in-law Carol LaMar; his brothers, Adrian and Donald LaMar; and his siblings-in-law, Michael, Rodney, Richard, Albert LaVigne, Russell and Patricia LaVigne.
He is survived by: his wife Donna LaMar of Joseph's Church; his children, Johnny, Siobahn LaMar, Wendy and Jack Phillips; his granddaughters, Rachel, Jenna, Morgan, Abigail and Emily; his sisters, Theresa (James Collins), Bonny (James Devan) and Linda (Gary Hamel); his brothers-in-law, Ronald Sears and Gary LaVigne; his brother Neal; and his sisters-in-law, Shelly LaVigne, Sue LaVigne, Debra LaVigne and Nancy LaMar. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home (294 Mannix Rd, Peru, NY 12972). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
