He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louis J Gonyea and Mary Duquette Gonyea; his siblings, Louis Gonyea of Plattsburgh, Carol Barcomb of West Chazy, Patricia Vanvalkenburg of Keeseville and Barbara Dubay of Plattsburgh; and his nieces and nephews, Jeremy, James Gonyea, Todd Barcomb, Shawn, Shane Dubay, Niki Barcomb, Chasity Walters and Jamie French.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brown's Funeral Home (29 Broad St, Plattsburgh, NY 12901).
