She was predeceased by: her father Richard H. Lucia; and her siblings, Caroline Sears and Carlton Lucia. She is survived by: her mother Grace M. Lucia (Burt); her children, Joyce Fernandez (Jesús), Suzanne Kolb, Richard Kolb II (Elizabeth), Stephanie Otley and Rebecca Broderick; and her siblings-in-law, Mary L. Hess and Thomas Sears.
Donations in memory of Joyce Lucia-Kolb may be made to Birthright of Plattsburgh, where she dedicated a large portion of her life helping needy mothers and their unborn babies.
