With solemn reverence, we commemorate Melissa Goodrich (Peru, New York), whose life came to an end on October 23, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

In the sacred silence of farewell, Melissa is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Melissa's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kenneth Wright and Alice Wright (Hanks); her daughter Mary Aliss; her son-in-law Mike Gast; her son David; her sister Simone; and her brother-in-law Dennis Noud (Marguerite Kim Wright) of Saratoga Springs. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews; cousins; neighbors; many friends; and her beloved racehorse.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Harkness United Methodist Church, the Elmore SPCA, the American Cancer Society or the Purple Haze Standardbred Adoption Program.
