We announce the death of Robert Svenson (Peru, New York), who passed away on June 17, 2026, at the age of 90. Robert will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sven Eric Svenson and Alice Svenson; his wife Dawn Garmirian Svenson; his daughter Elizabeth Svenson; his sister Joanne; his nephew David Eric; his brother-in-law Bob Garmirian; and his brothers, Carl and David.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher (Sarah Svenson), Eric (Lianne Svenson), Katie (David Moulton) and Jamie (Patrick Schnell); and his grandchildren, Ernesto, Robert, Alexandra, Patrick, Dawn and Freja.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, honoring the cherished loved ones who received exceptional care there.
