We announce the death of Dale R. Rood of Peterboro, New York, who passed away on October 1, 2026, at the age of 66. He is survived by: his parents, Robert C. Rood and Martha Phillips Rood; his siblings, Lonnie Rood (Justine), Charmaine Frederick (Terrance), Tammara Rood, Jamie Rood and Jason Rood (Christina); his daughter Jasmine Rood; and his stepdaughters, Ashley Murray and Jessica Jones. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home (260 Main St, Oneida, NY 13421). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Valley View Cemetery (1776 Middle Rd, Oneida, NY 13421).
