He was predeceased by: his parents, Weldon Smith and Mary Lou Smith; his brother Robert (Dana); and his sister-in-law Joan (Stewart). He is survived by: his siblings, Ronald (Liem) of Fuquay-Varina, Stewart of Cazenovia, Michael of Caledonia, Gary of Munnsville, Richard of Cazenovia, Daniel (Julia) of Chittenango and Patricia Rowland (Robert) of Georgetown. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the G. F. Zimmer Funeral Home (702 Legion Dr, Chittenango, NY 13037). A memorial service was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made directly to anyone in the Smith family, which will be forwarded to Greg's favorite charities.
