With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John N. Rossetti of Petersburgh, New York, born in Gloversville, New York, who passed away on June 6, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Rossetti and Ann K. Bolander Rossetti; and his sister Jane Rossetti Cayea. He is survived by: his wife Vivian Thorpe Rossetti; his children, Marcia Rossetti, Mark Rossetti (Karen), Lillian Rossetti Cardell (Michael), John Rossetti (Denise) and Vivian Rossetti Dutcher (late John Dutcher); his sister Margaret "Peggy" Rossetti Gardner; his grandchildren, Heather Rossetti, Elizabeth Roche, Sarah Roche, Katharine Roche Carner (Christopher), Jeremy Rossetti (Sarah), Michela Rossetti, Alaina Rossetti, Derek Rossetti, Shaylyn Rossetti, Miranda Morneault, Jess Morneault, Jack Cardell and Jared Cardell; and his great grandchildren, Kayden Miller, Lilyana Rossetti and Everett Carner.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the W. J. Lyons Jr. Funeral Home Inc. (1700 Washington Ave, Rensselaer, NY 12144). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Jr. Funeral Home (1700 Washington Ave, Rensselaer, NY 12144).
