He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. III and Janet M. Knowlson Smith III. He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Bink Smith; his children, Brandi Tole (Justin) of Bennington, VT, Mackenzie Smith of Glasgow, KY, Forrest Smith of Cosco, PA, Amber Lee of Colonie, Melissa Brown of Petersburgh, Todd Brown of Petersburgh and Jill Brown of Delmar; and his sister Cathy Hewitt (Charles) of Grafton.
