He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Minns and Ruth Minns (Kennedy). He is survived by: his children, Gerald W. Minns Jr. (Kimberly), Phelps Christopher James Minns and Rebecca Lee Kime (Robert) of Waterloo; his grandson Daniel Wallace Minns Samantha (Holly); his great grandchildren, Olivia, Rowan, Landyn, William, Hadleigh and Nora; his sister Cynthia Christensen (Bruce) of Waterloo; his siblings-in-law, Margaret Wadhams of Seneca Falls, Judy Dombek of Seneca Falls and Greg Wadhams (Joan) of Phelps; and his aunts, Pat Ransom of Stanley and Laverna Roe of Penn Yan. He is also survived by Many nieces, nephews and cousins.

It is requested that memorial Contributions be made to the Junius Fire Dept.
