He was predeceased by: his parents, Myron Kauder and Ida Massecar Kauder; his sister Sonia; his brother-in-law Bob Taylor; and his grandson Christopher.
He is survived by: his sons, Rick (Patti) and Ben (Melisa); his grandchildren, Brenden Kauder, Taylor Kauder (Alex Buisch), Jessie Jensen (Ty), Derrick Kauder (Kalyn VanHout) and Grace Kauder; his great grandchildren, Jayce, Finley, Brodie, Ayla and Delilah; his nephews, Scott Clark, Bob and Bill Taylor; and his niece Christine Fisher.
In lieu of flowers, a charitable donation can be made to the Ronald McDonald house of Rochester.
