As we bid Joan farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joan is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Berger; and her parents, Howard Trowbridge and Kathryn Trowbridge (Leininger). She is survived by: her children, Janelle Perry (Fred) of Shokan and Alan Berger (Lisa) of Bedford, NH.; her grandchildren, Becca, Ryne and Katie; and her great grandchild Lucas.

The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the Olive Fire Department.
