It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Lenore B. Hoxie of Phoenix, New York, who passed away at the age of 96, on September 7, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Bishop and Vivian Bishop (Butts); her husband Robert Alanson Hoxie; and her siblings, Frances Waring, Lucille Miller, Kenneth, Victor and Donald Bishop.
She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Hoxie of Phoenix, Susan Thomas (Brian) of Phoenix, Denise McGill (Matt) of Phoenix, Cheryl Castilano (Tom) of Syracuse, Timothy of Volney and Kimberly Ventura (Joe) of Baldwinsville; and her siblings, Joanne Sebastian, Vernon Bishop and Joyce Andrews. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to WMHR Christian Radio in Syracuse, which was Lenore's constant companion on the farm or you may continue her tradition of kindness and, "spread seeds of joy through word or deed wherever you go".
