He was predeceased by: his parent Catherine Carey; his brother Edwin Carey; and his son Daniel Carey. He is survived by: his wife Ilene Carey (Jolivette); his children, Corinne Geoghegan, Denise Harrison (Paul) and Michael Carey; his grandchildren, Michael Carey (Elise), Ashley Rodriguez (Josh), Alex Geoghegan (Sarena), Sarah Orellana (Francisco) and Valerie Harrison; his great grandchildren, Joziah, Jeremiah, Edmond, Moria and Jack; his sister Catherine Bufalo; his aunt Irene Diehl; his nephews, Jeff and Jimmy Bufalo; and his cousin Stephen Diehl. He is also survived by several other cousins and nephews.
