It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Joseph Damon (Pine Bush, New York), who passed away on May 23, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Damon and Madeline Degenhardt; his sisters, Marie Harkness, Camille Loye Grossbauer and Dorothy Gassert; and his grandparents, George Damon, Beatrice O'Connor, Theodore Degenhardt and Catherine Hessel.
He is survived by: his children, William "Bill" Joseph Damon Jr., Sarah Lauren Damon and Brian Fleming Damon; his wife Colleen Fleming Damon; his daughters-in-law, Vanessa and Shanely Saragrace; and his sister Madeline Junior. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Stone Church (280 Henry Rd, Pine Bush, NY 12566).
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be offered to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan, Newburgh, N.Y., or Regional Hospice Center for Comfort Care and Healing, Danbury, CT as a tribute to his life of service.
