In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Kathy had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Kathy may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henrietta "Tink" Howard-Conklin and Poppy Slap; and her nephew Steven Viscardo. She is survived by: her husband Gerald O'Brien II; her children, Gerald O'Brien III (Samatha) and Erin O'Brien (Gregory); and her pet Buddy. She is also survived by three sisters, one brother, and many adored nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Warwick Valley Humane Society, a cause close to Kathy's heart.
