She was predeceased by: her parents, James Byrnes and Isabel Byrnes (Wheeler). She is survived by: her children, Dawn Smith (Greg), David Bartholf (Kelly) and Denise Loveland (Mark); her grandchildren, Michael Smith (Lauren), Heather Smith (Chris), Alecia Stever (Zack), Lindsey Smith, James Loveland and Ashley Blevins (Kane); her great grandchildren, Skye, Aspyn, Callie, Carson, Shea, Cameron, Aubrie and Bryson; and her sister Betty Ann Abrams (Bill). She is also survived by two nieces and two nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peck & Peck Funeral Homes (7749 S Main St, Pine Plains, NY 12567). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's name may be made to the Pine Plains Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 100, Pine Plains, NY 12567.
