Shary L. Hertel Obituary

We bid farewell to Shary L. Hertel of Pine Plains, New York, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 22, 2025 at the age of 58. Shary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Shary may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Shary touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her father Neil Pilch; and her husband Joseph Hertel. She is survived by: her mother Diana Pilch (Clum); her daughter Kimberly Hertel; her stepson Joseph Hertel Jr.; her grandchildren, Amelia and Elliot Hertel; and her siblings, Tony Pilch and Cathy Vincent (Duane). She is also survived by aunts, uncles & many cousins.
