He was predeceased by: his parents, John MacPherson and Mildred MacPherson (Lasher); and his brothers, Maxwell, Forrest and Donald.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann MacPherson (Smith); his daughter Roanne MacPherson Farina; and his grandchildren, Amanda Roe Farina of New Jersey, Samantha Ann Farina of New Jersey and Peter Andrew Farina Jr. of New Jersey.
In lieu of flowers donations in Walden's memory may be made to either the First United Presbyterian Church of Pine Plains or to the Pine Plains Rescue Squad.
