Richard Wilt Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Richard Wilt in Piseco, New York. Richard, born on February 25, 1955, passed away on August 23, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Charles Stewart; his stepfather William "Bill"; his mother Margaret "Peggy" Savarie Wilt; his siblings, Charles Stewart Wilt, William "Billy" Wilt, John Stewart, Nancy Stevens and Catherine Tober; his grandparents, Claude and Florence Savarie; and his parents-in-law, Stephen and Nancy Palmer.

He is survived by: his wife Lynn Palmer Wilt; his children, Matthew Wilt, Kyle Wilt (Krystal) and Dana Ordway (Ryan); his grandchildren, Liam, Quinn, Kase, Cecilia and Keegan; his siblings, Linda Gaida, Margaret McCabe, Diane Smith (Ken), Carol Abitisti, Donna Yerdon, Aimee Riley (Wayne) and Dan Wilt (Kendall); his uncle Pete Savarie (Mary Kate); and his brothers-in-law, Mark Palmer and David Palmer (Deborah). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
