With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bruce Douglas Abel (Pittsford, New York), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 16, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Todd Abel (Lisa); his parents, Mable Abel and Arthur Abel; and his siblings, Norma Vanderstyne (Jerry), Robert, Kenneth, Bill, Jack and Donald.
He is survived by: his wife Janice; his daughter Kim Boyes (Rich); his grandchildren, Morgan Abel, Quinn Abel, Malorie Johnson (Jeff) and Alex Boyes; his great grandchildren, Grant and Cora Johnson; and his brother David Abel (Karen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pittsford Volunteer Ambulance or St. Louis Church.
