He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Thunberg and Helene Whitford Thunberg. He is survived by: his wife Sandra A. Thunberg; his parents-in-law, Marvin and Harriet Anderson; his daughters, Shelley Jacobs (Lee) and Melanie Byrne (Patrick); his grandchildren, Dr. Jason Jacobs (Callie), Brent Jacobs (Alexandra), Elizabeth Byrne, Patrick Byrne II (Gina Schultz) and Abigail Quinn Byrne; and his great grandchildren, Thompson, Carter and Margot Jacobs.
