He was predeceased by: his siblings, Suzanne Pearl Stanton and David Alexander Archibald; his stepbrother Craig Van Vessem; his mother La Vera Smith; and his stepfather James Van Vessem.
He is survived by: his wife Kathleen; his daughters, Michelle Archibald and Robyn Broomfield (Michael); his granddaughters, Madison and Mackenzie Broomfield; and his son-in-law Michael Broomfield. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
