He is survived by : his parents, Dr. Roger Kurlan and Cathy Kurlan; his sister Melissa Kaufman (Brandon); his grandmother Geraline Morris; his nephew Dylan; his niece Madelyn Kaufman; his aunts and uncles, Jeffrey, Janet Morris, Pamela and Ralph Roperti; and his cousins, Jonathan Morris, Jamie Epstein (Aaron), Chelsi Mattiacio (Mark) and Ashley Roperti.

A burial was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 12:15 PM. A graveside service was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the White Haven Memorial Park (210 Marsh Rd, Pittsford, NY 14534). A reception was held on Sunday, April 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at 58 Windelin Dr, Henrietta, NY 14467.
