It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Kalaitzis of Plainview, New York, who passed away on May 19, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Luz N. Kalaitzis (Lucy); his children, James Kalaitzis (Niki Kalaitzis), Michael Kalaitzis, Nicholas Kalaitzis, Pappou, Yanna Nicole Kalaitzis and Lukas George Kalaitzis; and his siblings, George Kalatzis, Vasiliki Lekkas and Eleni Lambriadis.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church (20 Field Ave, Hicksville, NY 11801). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 at 1:45 PM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (2030 Wellwood Ave, Farmingdale, NY 11735).
