With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catalina Gonzalez Maisonet of Plattekill, New York, who passed away on December 30, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Catalina leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Diego Gonzalez and Manuela Gonzalez (Acosta); and her husband Victor Maisonet Alvarez. She is survived by: her children, Cathi Castillo (Willie) of Wallkill, Victor Maisonet of Beacon, NY, Luis Maisonet of Margaretville, NY, Ramon Maisonet of Florida and Anthony Maisonet of Tarrytown, NY; and her sister Luz Acosta of New Jersey. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
