Though Bonnie is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Bonnie’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Rougeau and Mayfred Rougeau (Hale); and her brothers, Robert Rougeau and Christopher Rougeau. She is survived by: her husband Bernard Gonyo, Jr. of Plattsburgh; her children, Justin Trost (Leane) of West Chazy and Shannon Hart (Edmond) of West Chazy; her stepdaughter Tammy Anderson (Andy) of Macon, GA; her siblings, Barry Rougeau of Cadyville and Jill Mercer of Smyrna, DE; and her grandchildren, Mitchell Trost, Logan Hart and Abby Hart of West Chazy. She is also survived by 3 grandsons in Georgia, and 3 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the St. Peter's Cemetery (4705 S Catherine St, Plattsburgh, NY 12901).
