Joseph Patrick Bailey Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Patrick Bailey in Plattsburgh, New York, who passed away on April 9, 2026, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Bailey and Rachel Bailey (Pinell); his wife Shirley Drew; and his siblings, George, Stanley, Gerard, Paul, Lionell, Georgette, Mary Rose and Yvonne.

He is survived by: his children, Alan Bailey (Michele), Steven Bailey and Donna Demers (Joe); and his grandchildren, Carrie Day (Doug), Jason Bailey, Michael Bailey and Andrew Demers. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Third Age Adult Day Center in Plattsburgh, or the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center.
