She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Pfeiffer and Mary Pfeiffer (Hanson); her grandmother Anna Hanson; her husband Richard Neil Baer; her son Steven Randal Baer; and her granddaughter Judith Lin Vazquez.
She is survived by: her aunt Ruthie Hanson; her children, Richard Baer, Jr. (Cathy), Robbe Baer (Renee), Rodney Baer (Judy), Ruthanne Vazquez (John), Heidi Stitt Sr. (Jeff) and Andrea Baer; and her grandchildren, Richard Baer III, Cole Baer, Robbe Baer Jr., Richard Baer, Cassandra Baer, Hannah Baer, Jacob Baer, Jessica Baer Loucks, Cortland Baer, John Vazquez Jr., Ashley Clark, Jeffrey Stitt Jr. and Anna Stitt. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
