He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Upton and Rose Upton (LaPine); his brother Raymond; and his close friend Susan Hart. He is survived by: his children, Leroy (Julie) of Mooers, Lester (Mafe) of Plattsburgh, Lee (Mary) of Bakersfield, CA, Carol (Chris) of Plattsburgh, Cindy (Randy) of Champlain and Kamie (Bill) of Potsdam; his stepchildren, George (Marissa) of Plattsburgh and Mary (Ryan) of Plattsburgh; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Jeremy, Amanda, Tracy, Eric, Maja, Jaja, Mark, Rylee, Clarissa, Tyler, Taylor and Jaden; and his great grandchildren, Easton, Paislee, Joshua, Zac, Lexi, Naima, Georgie, John and Kaysen.
