Leon R. Stone Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leon R. Stone of Plattsburgh, New York, who passed away on June 17, 2025 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Leon farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Leon is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Stone and Lillian Stone (Agnew); his close friend Ruth Durant; and his siblings, Arthur, Arnold, Ralph, Waldon, Calvin, Merritt, Evelyn, Lillian and Leona. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the R. W. Walker Funeral Home (69 Court St, Plattsburgh, NY 12901). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Peter's Cemetery (4705 S Catherine St, Plattsburgh, NY 12901).
