It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Madeline Rathbun (Plattsburgh, New York), who passed away on December 10, 2025, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Bowen and Marjorie Bowen; her husband Edward Rathbun; her son James; and her brother Kenneth Ahrent.
She is survived by: her children, Judy Rathbun, Jeannette Rathbun (Kevin LaPointe), Edward Rathbun (Bobbi Covel), Eugene Rathbun, Gary Rathbun and Allen Rathbun; and her grandchildren, Rachel, Edward, Melissa, Eric, Christopher, Ashley, Destiny, David, Marjorie and Allie. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
