She was predeceased by: her parents, Cletus Benjamin and Valeda Benjamin (Charland); her husband Dr. Adam Krakowski; her significant other Gary Butler; and her brothers, Marvin Benjamin and Jeffrey Benjamin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Shastri (Sam) and Beth Shaughnessy (Michael); her grandchildren, Patrick Shaughnessy (Marianne) and Deven Shastri; and her great grandchildren, Emma Shaughnessy, Benjamin Shaughnessy and Ryan Shaughnessy.
A Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 30th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Peter's Church - Holy Cross (114 Cornelia St, Plattsburgh, NY 12901).
Donations in her memory may be made to the Champlain Valley Family Center or the CVPH Foundation for the Fitzpatrick Cancer Center.
