Matthew L. Hillman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew L. Hillman of Plattsburgh, New York, who passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hillman and Barbara Hillman (Paris); and his brother Eric Weldon. He is survived by: his wife Stacey Hillman; his daughters, Heather, Holly Hillman and Erin (Miguel Engelhardt); his in-laws, William and Beverly Leege; his siblings, Brad Hillman (Patti), John Paul Hillman (Sabrina), Marc Welden (Tami), Bill Welden (Misty), Dawn Snyder, Belinda Crane-Isenhower (Steve), Monica Staves (Michael), Jeri Lynn Holloway (Mark) and Marlene Villanova (Chris); his brother-in-law William Leege; his sister Sandi; his brother-in-law John Karafa; and his granddaughters, Grace and Caroline Engelhardt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Turnpike Wesleyan Church (2224 Military Turnpike, Plattsburgh, NY 12901).
Memorial donations may be made to Tunnel to Towers, St. Jude Hospital or the Turnpike Wesleyan Church.
