He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph W. Simpson, Sr. and Margaret Stephens; and his siblings, Pennie LaBarge (Richard), Linda Jesse (Paul), Jill Moore, Ralph Simpson, Jr. (Sandra) and Bruce Simpson.
He is survived by: his daughter Christin Tamer (Adam); his granddaughter Callie Tamer; his sisters, Nancy Whisten (Tony Garlasco), Robyn King (Leon) and Laurie Rossi; his brother-in-law Jim Moore; and his close friends, Penny Bursik and Donald Hewson. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
