She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Tavernier and Anna Tavernier (McNierney); her husband Donald F. Carey of George's Church; and her siblings, Judy Tavernier, Joan Soulia (Thomas) and James Tavernier.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Frennier of Plattsburgh, Ellen Carey and Matthew Carey (Melissa) of Burke, NY; her grandsons, Carey Frennier (Amanda) of West Chazy and Casey Frennier of Longview, TX; her great grandchildren, Bryton and Adalyn Frennier; her brother Hugh Tavernier (Sondra) of Findley, OH; and her sibling's children, Philip Soulia (Amanda) of Malone, Ann Gelting (Greg) of Charlotte, NC and Jon Tavernier of Charlotte, NC.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Burke Fire Department.
