He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard and Erma; and his siblings, Douglas, James and Jane.
He is survived by: his sisters, Joan Cahalin (John) of Doylestown, PA and Donna Reed Austin of Keene, NY; and his siblings' children, Jody Cahalin Lawrence (Brian), Tara Cahalin Gallant (Barry), Erin Reed Kaelin (Adam), Kristin Reed McGaughey (Jim), John Cahalin (Helen Jo), Kevin Cahalin, Tim Cahalin (Vivian) and Jim Cahalin (Vanessa). He is also survived by 18 grand nieces and nephews, many caring cousins and lifelong friends.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Norton Cemetery.
Peter would not want flowers or a donation given to any particular cause in his name; instead, he would ask that anyone reading this obituary would reach out to a neighbor, friend or someone in need and show an act of kindness to make someone's day better and make memories together.
