He was predeceased by : his parents, James Murnane and Margaret Murnane (Hartum); and his brother James L. Murnane, Jr. (Janet). He is survived by : his wife Katherine Murnane (Albright); his children, Thomas M. Murnane (Julie), Amy A. Murnane of Plattsburgh and Hope Murnane Foley (John) of Fernandina Beach, FL.; and his grandchildren, Taylor, Maddison Murnane, David, Anne Randall, Elizabeth and Katherine Foley. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the North Country or Holy Cross Parish, Plattsburgh.
