He was predeceased by: his parents, John Podmore and Winifred Podmore; his siblings, Chester Podmore (Jean) and Hope Crowningshield (Sheridan); and his nephew Aaron.
He is survived by: his close friend Polly Joy; the mother of his children Jane Simpson; his children, Richard Podmore (Jessica), Kathy Decker (David) and Becky Sheehan (Timothy); and his grandchildren, William, Joseph, Christopher Podmore, Samantha Decker, Meggan, Peter and Logan Sheehan. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
