With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol A Spahn of Pleasant Valley, New York, who passed away on November 10, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Carol had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Carol may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thomas Whalen and Shirley Carey Whalen; her husband Kim Emil Spahn; her daughter Heather Shana Spahn Whalen (Michael); her grandchildren, Shana Mary and Aiden Michael of Staatsburgh; her daughter Erin Kathleen Spahn of LaGrange; and her brothers, Thomas (Janet Whalen), Robert (Debbie Whalen), James (Cathey Whalen) and David (Julie Whalen). She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, November 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home (371 Hooker Ave, Poughkeepsie, NY 12603). A Mass was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Kateri Church (1925 NY-82, Lagrangeville, NY 12540).

“Dear Kim, we are so very saddened by the news of the passing of your Beautiful Dear Wife Carol.. Our Thoughts and Prayers are with you, your Family and Friends at this most difficult time.
